Interestingly, this year, NABARD has also introduced some changes in the eligibility criteria and the exam pattern. It has introducing descriptive questions in the Phase-2 Exam. A 10-Mark Decision-making section has been added from this year onwards, plus the marking of English language has reduced from 40 to 30. The examination is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in the last week of August 2021, or the first week of September 2021.

NABARD Grade-B 2021-A Few Important Changes!
The new notification from NABARD introduced some changes in this year’s selection process also. Therefore, you need to make sure you know all the following points to avoid any sort of confusion.
1. Change in Exam Pattern
In 2019, there were only in the NABARD Grade-B Prelims Exam, whereas the latest 2021 notification has introduced a new section on ‘Decision Making.’ There will be a total of 8 sections now.

2. Change in Interview
In 2019, the interview was worth 40 marks, whereas now it will be worth 50 Marks (RDBS/Rajbhasha).

3. Change in Age Eligibility
In 2019, the candidate must be between 21 and 35 years of age to be eligible for the post, whereas now, he must be between 25 and 32 years of age.

5. Change in Educational Requirements
In 2019, a candidate needed to have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline to be eligible to appear in the NABARD Grade-B Exam, but now he must possess a PG (postgraduate) degree in any discipline with 3 years of experience in related sectors.

Will the Exam be Delayed Again?
The Phase-1 Exam is expected to be held at the end of August, or in the 1st week of September. But if you are following the daily news, you might be knowing that WHO’s update claims that there are signs that India might be hit by the 3rd wave of Covid-19, before the festival of Diwali, by the end of August. Age limit for Rural Development Banking Service
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
As per the NABARD Grade-A Notification 2021, you must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 01-07-2021, i.e., the candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1991 and not later than 01-07-2000.

Education Criteria for Rural Development Banking Service
You need to be a Graduate with a bachelor’s degree in a particular discipline, which means that you must have studied that discipline as the main subject in the respective degree course and it must be mentioned in the Degree Certificate issued by the University/Institute. However, the eligibility details of different posts have been given below:
General Post
- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 55%) in aggregate.
or
- Post Graduate degree, MBA/PGDM with a minimum of 55% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 50%) in aggregate.
or
- CA/ CS/ICWA OR Ph.D. from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC.
