Candidates who clear the final selection process are called for the Document Verification (DV) process before joining. Here we are providing the detailed list of documents required for the DV process during the joining of IBPS Clerk, PO, and SO positions.

1. Essential Documents for All Candidates

  • IBPS Interview Admit Card: Carry the admit card received for the interview stage.
  • Photo Identity Proof: Valid identity proof like a Passport, Voter ID Card, PAN Card, Driving License, or Aadhaar Card with a photo.
  • Educational Qualification Certificates
  • Candidates must submit their original certificates along with self-attested photocopies:
    • 10th and 12th class mark sheets and certificates
    • Graduation degree certificates and mark sheets
  • Printout of Application Form: Printout of the online application form submitted during registration.
  • Proof of Date of Birth: Documents like 10th class mark sheet or birth certificate as proof.
  • Passport Size Photographs: Recent passport-size photographs match the photograph uploaded during the application process.

2. Category-Wise Specific Documents

Applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates, issued by a competent authority as per the prescribed format.

OBC candidates must ensure that their certificate mentions “Non-Creamy Layer” status and is issued as per the latest government format.

EWS candidates under the Economically Weaker Section, an income and asset certificate issued by the competent authority.​

3. Other Cases

Experience Certificate: If already employed, submit an experience certificate obtained from previous employers.

Certificate affected by 1984 riots: Candidates affected by the 1984 riots must submit a certificate from the District Magistrate.

No Objection Certificate (NOC): If employed in the Government or Private sector, an NOC from the current employer is required.
