CSIR has made an official announcement of the main exam date for shortlisted candidates in the online exam. CSIR SO/ASO Mains Exam is scheduled for 7th July 2024. A descriptive paper with the CPT test will be conducted on the same day in respective exam centres across India. Notification regarding mains exam date is declared on 3rd June 2024 with Stage 1 results. A PDF Notice is released to inform candidates regarding the main exam date. The notice is uploaded on the official website just after release of the CSIR SO/ASO Result 2024 for the Stage 1 exam. A list of shortlisted candidates provided in the result who have to sit in the Stage 2 paper.
CSIR SO/ASO Mains Exam 2024 will be conducted on 7th July 2024 in the morning shift. A descriptive exam is conducted and CPT is for Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts only. The CPT exam is organized in the afternoon shift in the examination centre. Candidates should appear first in the descriptive paper and then, the CPT exam on 7th July 2024.
