Directions: Answer the questions based on the information given below.

Company ‘A’ and ‘B’ both have three departments namely HR, Marketing and Finance. Both companies hired some employees in all or some of the departments. The employees that were hired in given departments were termed as new employees. The following information is known about the two companies.

  • Total number of old employees in company ‘A’ are 64. If two people were hired in each of the three departments then the ratio of total number of employees (old + new) in HR and Marketing department, together to that in finance department would become 4:3.
  • In company ‘B’, there are six employees working in HR department. It is known that no one was hired in this department.
  • Total (Old + new) number of employees in finance department of company ‘B’ is half of number of total (Old + new) employees in marketing department in company ‘A’.
  • Number of employees hired in finance department of company ‘B’ is half the number of employees hired in marketing department of the same company.
  • Total (old + new) number of employees in marketing department of company ‘A’ are 6 more than that in company ‘B’. Before hiring, 10 employees were working in finance department of company ‘B’.
  • Total (Old + new) number of employees in HR department of company ‘A’ and finance department of company ‘B’ are 28.
