Here are some of the benefits of the changed SSC CGL exam pattern that you can enjoy:
The SSC CGL Recruitment 2022 is being held to fill 20,000 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/Departments/Organisations of the Government of India and various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals, etc. Therefore, you’ve got increased chances of clearing the exam with the increased posts. Because the lesser the posts, the more is the competition.
As we know, from now on, the SSC will select the candidates on the basis of Tier 1 and Tier 2 only. Tier 3 and Tier 4 are now merged with Tier 2. As a result, there will be 3 papers in tier 2 in which paper 1 is compulsory for all posts. SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 1 consists of three new modules. Experts are of the view that this change will bring a positive effect on the SSC CGL 2022 recruitment process and candidates will now get relief from the lengthy and tiring procedure they used to face earlier.
Ask 2018 aspirants and they’ll tell you how they struggled for 3-4 years to finally get the joining at the end of 2021. So lengthy was the selection procedure. Now the candidates will not have to go through such a lengthy process.
All the aspirants, from Science, Commerce or Arts background will now be equally benefitted after the changed exam pattern of SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. (Tier 2, Paper I, which is Compulsory). It will be a level playing field for all now. Have to Qualify all sections of Paper-1 (Tier 2)
Many candidates are scared of the descriptive exam. Scores of aspirants in the past scored upto 600 marks in Tier-2 exam but got disqualified after giving the Tier-3 exam, just because of the descriptive exam.
Those aspirants who were either weak in mathematics or had no maths background will feel relieved with the changed pattern. They won’t have to feel the mathematical shivers.
Note: Final DV will be done at the concerned departments only. SSC will not conduct DV. PA/ SA vacancies added. Earlier, it came under SSC CHSL exam. Post preference to be selected after tier-2 result. Age should be under 27 for Group C Posts. Selected candidates will now get the job within a year.
Here are some disadvantages that you can turn to advantages with a good preparation supplemented with regular SSC CGL 2022 Mock Tests:
SSC CGL Tier 2 Paper 1, section II of Module-I entertains test of English Language and Comprehension, of 135 Marks, having the highest weightage. Hindi Medium Students may find it tough and so should focus more on English to fetch maximum marks in it.
The candidates will have to clear the Cutt Off of 1st section (Reasoning and Maths) and of second sections (English and General Awareness).
The Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning and General Intelligence are in 1st section that can take a lot of time and effort whereas General Awareness and English less time-taking section. But there is equal duration for both the sections section. Sectional timing can be a problem for some candidates, but the candidate who can answer 100 questions in 1 hour can also answer 60 or 70 questions within the same time-limit. And a regular practice with the help of Mock Tests will help you complete section 1 and also 2 in time.
With the updated SSC CGL 2022 exam pattern, it becomes mandatory to start your preparation with the updated SSC CGL Tier 1 2022 Mock Tests. Don’t forget that practice makes all the difference between successful students and failures. Also, don’t forget these two quotes:
“Learn by practice.”
-Martha Graham.
“Practice without improvement is meaningless.”
-Chuck Knox.
Best of luck with the preparation!
