Congrats on your success! Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?
I gave lots of exams this year but was not able to make it to the final. I gave various mains like rrb po lic ado sbi clerk ibps clerk and lic assistant and was not able to qualify prelims of esic udc CWC ibps po and sbi po for few marks.
How did you prepare for the different sections?
First of all I cleared my basics in quant by solving r s Agarwal and m Tyra.. I would personally suggest everyone try to practice from M tyra, it is really helpful. For reasoning quizzes of various sites were enough to practice and once u clear your concept try to solve puzzle daily …The more you practice puzzle the more your speed will increase.. English I used to give quizzes from adda247, grade up.. GA this is the game changer. This section can help you to get the job aur loose the job.. So I would like to suggest try to do GA from the very first day..and don’t mug up just revise revise and revise.. first revise monthly then weekly and then monthly ..I used to do PM’s 500+ ques which use to come before each exams. And you can do daily GA from any site.
What was your overall strategy? Did you follow a study schedule? If yes, please share the details.
See the main thing I kept in my mind was I have to get it anyhow…By hook or by crook I have to get a job by 2020.. And m here with my selection in LIC ASSISTANT. I use to study 7-8 hours a day but I never compromised with it. I use to give a mock then analyse it where did I stuck and tried to improve my weak areas. See giving daily one mock helped me a lot because I got used to with exam pressure. And dont study for mains after clearing prelims.. try to manage both simultaneously.. Ya I faced lots of hurdles becoz it was really not easy to sit idle at home and prepare for exams.. sometimes I thought to quit and switch to Pvt job but lucky I am; I have few frnds who always motivated me and got family support without them I wouldn’t be able to make it. And yes there was little hope from inside that helped me to crack it.. I am really thankful to almighty for what I have but this is not the end have to go far away.
Did PracticeMock help you in your success? Please elaborate.
Practice Mock the name itself has the definition.. I practiced a lot of mocks and this site helped me alot.. I came across varieties of question patterns and each were of different level.. As I said you earlier it’s PM 500+ MCQ for CA also helped me a lot…So I would suggest u to go through PracticeMock Pro, it’s really awesome.
What’s your message for the fellow aspirants who are preparing for competitive exams?
Just believe in yourself and try to improve each and everyday..stay away from negativities.. You will surely get success.
We sincerely hope that you got a few golden takeaways from this success story. Check the way Alpa solved mock tests. She used to take 1 mock test on a daily basis and used to properly analyse it; later on she used to work on your weak areas. All these steps became her gateway to clear LIC Assistant. You can also clear banking & insurance exams if you make up your mind not to settle for anything less. We hope that this success story would definitely kindle the ‘victorious’ person in you.
