AFCAT 2 Preparation Strategy: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has started registering the candidates for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2024 today on 30th May 2024. Interested candidates, who are eligible to take the AFCAT 2 Exam should quickly apply for the recruitment process. They can simply fill the IAF AFCAT 2024 application form through the official websites: careerindianairforce.cdac.in and afcat.cdac.in. This year too, thousands of candidates will compete for the AFCAT 2024 recruitment to fill 317 posts in the flying branch, ground duty (Technical) branch, and ground duty (non-technical) branch. AFCAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The candidates need to focus on all the subjects equally to maximize their scores. Every topic of all the subject is important and requires equal dedication and sincerity. They need to find the best approach to tackle each subject/section of the exam. 1.     AFCAT 2 Preparation Strategy 2024 for English

Candidates can score the highest in this section. In this section, the most questions, that is, 30 questions are asked, which are worth 90 marks. 75+ marks can be easily scored in this section. The candidates who are proficient in grammar and have thoroughly covered the syllabus and practiced all kinds of questions well, can score full marks in this. Candidates must carefully keep in mind the following points and take full advantage of this section.

  • Solidify the basics of Grammar and all the basic rules related to grammatical concepts with books like Wren and Martin.
  • Read newspapers and magazines regularly. Start with the article, blogs, or books that you find most interesting.
  • Write down all the tough words you come across while reading. Learn 20 to 30 new words every day. Learn synonyms and antonyms of these words together with sentence examples. Questions on synonyms and antonyms frequently come in the AFCAT exam.

2.     AFCAT 2 Preparation Strategy 2024 for Numerical Ability

  • Get ready to face questions from Percentages, Area and Perimeter, Ratio and Proportion, Clock, Decimals, Boat and Stream, Profit, Loss and Discount, Probability, Compound Interest and Simple Interest, Speed Time and Distance, and Age.
  • Make short notes on important formulas, concepts, etc. for quick revision before the exam.

3.     AFCAT 2 Preparation Strategy 2024 for Reasoning and Military Aptitude

Reasoning is another important section of the exam and a good score in it can boost your overall score. Similarly, a low score in it can lower or reduce a candidate’s overall score. Candidates should remember that Reasoning and Military Aptitude section has 25 questions of 75 marks. These questions are of both Verbal and Non-Verbal nature and are equally important. Candidates can score full marks easily in the General Awareness section. It doesn’t require any mathematical or reasoning skills. It has questions on Current Affairs and Static General Awareness. Candidates need to master the current affairs of the last 5 to 6 months and memorize the static information to face this section with ease. Good preparation also requires short notes for all the information ascertained to revise it before the exam swiftly. Focus more on all the important topics like Sports, Defence equipments, National and international events, Major advancements and deals, Military exercises, Current affairs, Books and authors, Sports terminology and Nicknames of important personalities.
