Active and Passive for SSC CGL
Active Voice is when the subject of the sentence performs the action.
Structure: Subject + Verb + Object
Passive Voice is when the subject of the sentence receives the action.
Structure: Object + form of “to be” + Past Participle + by + Subject

General Rules to Convert Active to Passive Voice
- Identify the object in the active sentence.
- Bring the object to the beginning.
- Use the correct form of ‘to be’ (is, am, are, was, were, etc.)
- Change the verb to its past participle form.
- Use the preposition ‘by’ before the subject.
