As we already know SSC MTS Exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of f Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff for a General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts. Apart from that, negative marking has also been removed from the Numerical and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving section.

Strategy to Score High in the SSC MTS 2023

As I have mentioned above, the exam pattern has changed. Since there’s only one CBT, the candidates have more time for preparation. Instead of slacking, it’s advisable to pay more focus to CBT, rather than slacking off. So now gear up for the SSC MTS 2023. As per new exam pattern, there are four subjects in 2 sections. In the first section we have Numeric and Mathematical Ability and Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving. So let us focus on them:

Numeric & Mathematical Abilities

  • Maths is all about practice. So don’t skip this part.
  • Solve the previous year’s question papers. It will give you a good idea of the most important topics of the SSC MTS 2023.
  • When you complete the topic, Go for intensive sessions of Mock Tests.
  • Probability and Statistics are extremely important. Do the practice.

Reasoning Ability & Problem Solving

  • Reasoning preparation is about variety. Try practicing as many types of questions as you can.
  • Solve previous year’s questions and note down the topics.
  • You can directly start taking mock test sessions and within a short period you’ll notice the improvement.
  • Inequality and syllogism are important. Focus on them.

The second section consists of General Awareness & English Language & Comprehension.

General Awareness

  • Read and revise current events from 3-4 months ago. Revise daily.
  • Cover matriculation board-level history, geography, economy, and polity of India. Apart from them read static GK, like Awards & Achievement and so forth.
  • Practice answering the past 5-6 years of question papers.
  • Take Mock Tests every day and analyze your performance.

English Language & Comprehension

  • Study Matriculation Level English Grammar. Your basics must be clear.
  • Everyday spend an hour on vocabulary practice.

  • Solve pasts 5 years questions. It will give a good idea of the most common topics as well as the pattern of the examination.
