Issuance of Admit Cards

Candidates will be issued admit cards for the pre-exam training containing the details about the pre-exam centres like the date and time of the training, etc. They will have to carry their admit card to the training center. All expenses related to traveling, boarding, lodging, etc. will have to be borne by the candidates taking the training. The purpose of the training is to familiarize the candidates with the exam pattern, syllabus for the upcoming IBPS PO 2021 Exam.

Exam Pre-Training Eligibility-IBPS PO 2021

The candidate must belong to any one of the following categories given below, to undergo the Pre-exam Training organized for IBPS PO 2021:

  • Scheduled Tribes (ST)
  • Scheduled Castes (SC)
  • Minority Communities

Note: Candidates who do not fall under any of the categories mentioned above will not be allowed to apply for the pre-exam training.

How to Apply for Pre-Exam Training?

Eligible Applicants who want to apply for the IBPS PO Pre-exam Training can easily get the Pre-Exam Training just by filling in the required details in IBPS PO 2021 Application Form. They should keep in mind that there is no separate application form or mode to get the facility of the training. Candidates can fill in the choice of center (from the provided centers) where they want to take the pre-exam training. This is free training where only the transportation and other costs will be borne by candidates themselves. Candidates who will successfully register themselves online will be issued a pre-exam training call letter.

IBPS PO 2021 Pre-Exam Training Call Letter

Successfully registered candidates will be able to download IBPS PO Pre-exam Training call letters/Admit cards in September 2021at the official website (ibps.in.) No candidate without the call letters will be allowed to enter the training center.

How to download the Pre-exam Training admit cards?

Here are the simple steps to download the Pre-exam Training admit cards:

  1. Go to the official IBPS website (ibps.in.)  
  2. Click on the link to “Download Call Letter for PO/MT-IX” running on the top of the page
  3. Candidates will be directed to the login page.
  4. Enter your Registration No. and Password/ Date of Birth.
  5. Type the given captcha code and click on the “Submit” button.
  6. Pre-Exam Training Admit Cards will be displayed to Download it.
  7. Take a printout of the Admit Card for future use.

Pre-Exam Training May not be Held

As per the latest notification released by IBPS PO the pre-exam training may or may not happen this year. To quote the latest notification by IBPS PO, ”Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the safety of the candidates, PET during this period may not be held. Pre-Examination Training may be arranged by the Nodal Banks/ Participating Banks to a limited number of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/ Minority Communities at certain centers viz. Agartala, Agra, Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Aurangabad, Balasore, Behrampur (Ganjam), Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Dhanbad, Gorakhpur, Gulbarga, Guwahati, Hubli, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Karnal, Kavaratti, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Muzaffarpur, Mysore, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji (Goa), Patiala, Patna, Port Blair, Prayagraj (Allahabad), Puducherry, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Shimla, Shillong, Siliguri, Thiruchirapalli, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijaywada and Vishakhapatnam. All eligible candidates who opt for and wish to avail of Pre-Examination Training should fill in the relevant column in the ON-LINE APPLICATION. While training will be imparted free of cost, all other expenses regarding traveling, boarding, lodging, etc. will have to be borne by the candidate for attending the preexamination training program at the designated Centres. Depending on the response and administrative
feasibility the right to cancel any of the Pre- Examination Training Centres and/ or add some other Centres and/or
make alternate arrangements are reserved. By merely attending the Pre-Examination Training no candidate acquires any right to be selected in any of the Participating Banks mentioned.”
