The exam pattern of NABARD comprises of 7 sections which are Reasoning Ability, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India) & Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India).

Quantitative Aptitude Preparation Tips for NABARD Grade A Exam

1. Clarity of Basics: You need to clear your basic mathematics concepts before you proceed further. This includes memorizing tables from 1 to 30, squares upto 50 and cubes upto 30. This aids in fast calculation and saves time. Understanding some key chapters of mathematics like Ratio, Percentages and Average is important to clear the cut-off of the exam. It’s also essential that you fetch maximum marks in the Quantitative Aptitude section.
2. Preparation according to the topic: To hit the bull’s eye you need to keep a strategy. You need to make a list of topics priority wise i.e. starting from the most important chapters. The topic preference list should be according to your convenience.
3. Time Management and Planning: As the adage goes, “Proper planning prevents poor performance.” Therefore solving the problem should not be your sole focus rather solving the problem within the stipulated time frame should be your aim. The ideal time to solve one question is 37 seconds if you aim at solving this section in less time. To avoid hassle you should always practice questions in a certain time limit.

Questions on BODMAS and Number series appear frequently in the previous year papers, so if you have a command over mathematical operators and number series this section will really help you in obtaining a good score.
5. Tracking your performance:  There will be certain topics which you will be good at and certain topics will be your weak point. So you need to identify your strong and weak areas. Practice your strong areas first and then go on to your weak areas giving them more time. Keep a track of your performance and note if you are improving on your weak areas or not.
