I started my preparation in 2019.In the beginning I didn’t know how to prepare,what is the good source,what should I follow for my preparation whether YouTube videos or paid course or mock test only.I was even not aware about the full syllabus of the exam.I am a Hindi Medium below average student.Banking preparation journey was not easy for me.

Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?

I appeared in all banking exam such as IBPS PO /Clerk,RRB PO/ Clerk,Sbi PO/Clerk and RBI Assistant.And I failed in almost every exam.I was failed in more than 20 prelims and 10 Mains.Durining the first year of my preparation I was not able to clear even a single prelims and my scores were less than half of the cutoff marks.After seeing my marks in prelims once I thought I took a wrong decision of preparing for bank and It is not cup of my tea.

English Section Preparation Strategy

English is the main reason for my decision to prepare for bank exam. It does not mean that I was very good in English from the beginning.I was so scared of English that I didn’t take admission in B.sc or engineering because where I had to read books in English.But after some time I understood that I can’t ignore English Of I have to be successful.And once My mam said to me that If something is going to better your career or personality instead of being against go with It.And I understood it very well.For English I read newspaper,watched News and practiced a lot.Quality questions of PracticeMock helped me a lot to improve my English. Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

For quantitative aptitude first of all I learnt table ,square and cube root and then I cleared my basic of arithmetic and DI.I watched Ankush Lamba Sir videos which are available on YouTube and Unacademy.I practiced a lot of mains quizzes and test which helped me not only clearing mains but pre also.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

Reasoning is the topic which is new for almost every aspirant and I was not exception.Because you know more or less about quant and English but reasoning is totally new subject.In the beginning I was struggling in solving puzzles and other miscellaneous questions.After spending 30-40 minutes I was not able to solve puzzles of prelims level.For reasoning I followed Ankush Lamba Sir and did lots of practice.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

For GA I followed Kapil Kathpal Sir and watched his videos 6-7 times .I was not comfortable with pdf that is why I watched videos 6-7 times.For GA revision is very important.

Computer Awareness Preparation Strategy

For computer awareness I followed Sahil Charaya Sir videos and gave lots of quizzes.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

Well my overall strategy was I focused 80% on mains and 20% on prelims.But when prelims were very close like 1 month or 15-20 days I focused 80%prelims and 20% mains. Because If you are preparing for mains you are preparing for pre as well but if you are preparing for Pre you are preparing for Pre only. I faced financial problems during my preparation and faced taunt of my near one.But with the support of my parents and my friends I was able to overcome all these problems.
