While the notification was finally released with 294 vacancies, the time is less for your preparation. The Phase I exam is falling on May 28, 2022, leaving you with around 2 months for getting your strategy right. RBI Grade B 2021 Phase I Exam Pattern
The Paper will consist of the below tests:
- General Awareness
- English Language
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning
A total time of 120 minutes will be given for answering. However, separate time will be allotted for each test.

Reading Comprehension

- Grammar rules are extremely important to answer questions on this topic. However, practice (and reviewing your attempts) matters all the more to answer error spotting questions.
- After answering, evaluate your answers and if you have answered any question incorrectly, review your mistake and understand the reason why you made the mistake. This will go a long way in improving your performance in these questions.
Fill in the Blanks
- The trick to answering Fillers is very similar to that of cloze test. Read and understand the context and guess the answer. Pick the option which is the closest to your guess.
- Prior practice and a good reading habit are all you need to master this section.
- Take cues from the preceding and succeeding words to get an idea of what will be the answer.
