Time Management for the English Section
Another important aspect is time management during the SBI PO exam. There won’t be much time to attempt the English Language section. You will get only 20 minutes in the Prelims, and 40 minutes in the mains to complete the English section.

- Set a Time Limit for Each Question: During the scale of the Prelims, attempt not to spend more than 45 – 50 seconds per question. Again you might have slightly more time in Mains, but do not get stuck on a question for too long.
- Don’t Get Stuck on One Question: If a question seems tough and you have an idea that it can take much time then you are advised to leave that question and move to another one. If you have left time later then come again to that question and attempt it. That way you will not get stuck in one question while the rest of the paper is being prepared.
