IBPS SO 2024 Exam Pattern
The preliminary exam is divided into three sections with varying marks for different positions:
- For IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer:
- English Language: 50 questions, 25 marks
- Reasoning Ability: 50 questions, 50 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 50 marks
- Total Duration: 120 minutes
- For Rajbhasha Adhikari and Law Officer:
- English Language: 50 questions, 25 marks
- Reasoning Ability: 50 questions, 50 marks
- General Awareness (with Special Reference to the Banking Industry): 50 questions, 50 marks
- Total Duration: 120 minutes
Important Guidelines For the IBPS PO 2024 Exam
The admit card is a crucial document for the IBPS SO exam, and candidates must follow these instructions:
- Download the Admit Card: The admit card will be downloaded from the IBPS official website by using the candidate’s registration number and password.
- Check Details Carefully: Candidates verify all details, such as name, photograph, exam date, venue, and reporting time.
- Carry Required Documents: Along with the admit card, carry a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.) and a photocopy of the same. Ensure that the name on the ID matches the name on the admit card.
- Paste a Recent Photograph: Candidates attach a recent passport-size photograph (similar to the one uploaded in the application) in the space provided on the admit card.
Exam Day Guidelines
On the date of the IBPS SO 2024 Examination, candidates need to adhere to the below-mentioned rules:
Reporting Time: The time of Reporting Time mentioned in the Admit Card would be strictly adhered to. Candidates are required to visit the exam centre before that so that the experience is hassle-free and there is no delay in reaching the hall. Latecomers shall not be permitted inside the Examination Hall.
Dress Code: Refrain from wearing any dress with large buttons, metal, and other accessories, that will ring the metal detector.
Stationery: Carry your own stationery like a ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser, etc. Since we cannot use the stationery provided by the company in the hall.
Permitted Items: None Electronic devices like mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches etc., and study material, and any other unauthorized item are absolutely not permitted. NOTHING of these will be tolerated inside the examination hall.
