Hello friends I am Roopkanwar Singh and today I am sharing with you mu success story for SBI Junior Associate. I started preparing seriously in April 2019, cleared some prelims but couldn’t qualify Mains exam. Here is my success story below:

I started preparing seriously in April 2019,cleared some prelims but couldn’t qualify Mains exam. I kept practicing and i was fortunate enough to find a place in the list of students qualified in RBI Assistant Mains exam. But unfortunately couldn’t make it in the final list. I kept practicing sectional mocks from several websites and youtube channels, so i qualified SBI JA prelims and consecutively Mains as well.

• SBI PO-Failed in prelims twice
• LIC Assistant-Failed in Mains
• LIC AAO-Failed in prelims
• LIC ADO-Failed in Mains
• IBPS CLERK-Failed in Mains twice

English Section Preparation Strategy

I would practice the mock tests rather than reading newspapers. I would get a score as low as 10 or 11. With proper practice and watching some good channel videos, all of a sudden, my score started increasing. You start to gain knowledge of the thing you do consistently.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

This sections has always been my favorite from the beginning. It would not be wrong to say that i am more than average in this section. Practicing questions of different types consistently is the only thing that would increase your level of thinking capability.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

I remember when my parents would say that keep taking exams, at least you will get to know how to sit in exam. I would fill form of IBPS RRB’s and i would stuck in Reasoning section. I prepared puzzles and syllogism from Ankush Lamba sir. He is the only teacher who could make me understand the concept free from errors. I owe him everything.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

Of course reading current affairs on daily basis is a must thing. I would read current affairs from Current affairs funda youtube channel and I had bought their subscription for daily pdf. The content maker is really good. You all must give it a try if you find AC a little lengthy.

Computer Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I prepared for this section from different sources. The bankersadda capsule was really good. Youtube channel Study smart is also good to understand things deeply. I prepared for this section for RRB and RBI.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

Yeah i didn’t follow any strict schedule. But yes I would watch youtube videos everyday of some youtube channels like Learning capsules helped a lot. This is the only channel that will help you gear Mains preparation in my opinion. Ofcourse I faced many challenges. When i couldn’t get into RBI, the pain was real. My mind would not work like it used to do. Sometimes your parents would say they have to go here and there and you are the only hope for them, then you have to take them wherever they want to go. Ofcourse it changes your schedule, you have to deal with it. Wake up early in the morning, if not possible, study till late night.

Yes practice mock helped me specially in sectional tests. You get to learn new things. One should not say that this mock is overrated but it has high level than the actual exam. I know it doesn’t feel good to solve a mock that is having level more than the actual exam, but sometimes the actual exam comes out to be really tough. So one should do questions of level higher than the actual exam so that it becomes easy to boost score.

Message to the Fellow Aspirants

I would say everyone needs to be consistent. Don’t think that somebody else is enjoying and i am studying. Your patience and perseverance will bring out the true colors of joy one day. The happiness that you will get after the selection cannot be described in words.
