  • Miscellaneous/Arithmetic Topics – Try to attempt easy questions from topics like, ages, averages, percentage, profit and loss, etc. These questions can fetch you good marks.

b. Reasoning Ability: You can expect the following topics to emerge in the numerical ability section:

  • Syllogism- You can expect ‘direct questions’. There are a maximum of 5-6 cases of syllogism. Revise all carefully.
  • Coding-Decoding- Practice the old pattern of coding-decoding, this is expected this year.
  • Inequality-It is an easy and scoring topic. Experts recommend attempting it first.
  • Sitting Arrangement & Puzzles- Practice questions on a different type of arrangements. For instance, circular, linear, etc. and puzzles (floor based, box based, etc.) is expected. You will have to read the question carefully and connect the dots to find an answer.
  • Alphanumeric series- Master questions on series of – Symbols, numbers, and alphabets. Read the question well before answering it.
  • Miscellaneous- Miscellaneous include questions like, Blood relation, Ranking, Distance direction, Single Qs on Alphabets, Single Qs on Numbers etc. Try to attempt all the questions asked in this section with speed and accuracy, as the questions are expected to be very easy.

Important Tip for Reasoning Ability Section:

As per the experts, you should only spend 22-23 minutes and try to solve 30-35 questions on this subject. Don’t invest more time than needed in it, and if stuck move on to the next question.
