What are the Eligibility Criteria (s) for PSCB Clerk 2021?

The eligible candidate needs to be a graduate (2^nd division, any stream) OR post graduate pass (any stream) AND Diploma/ Certificate (Minimum 6 months) in Computer from an Institute having ISO Certification AND also, he or she should have passed Punjabi Language examination of Matriculation standard.

How many rounds of examination are there for PSCB Clerk 2021?

For PSCB Clerk position there is only one round of examination which is the written test.

What’s the minimum pay admissible for a CDEO job?

As per the notification issued by the PSCB, Chandigarh the minimum pay for clerk-cum data entry operators would be Rs. 19,900 per month.  

What’s the minimum, maximum age limit along with exceptions?

The maximum age is 37 years. The relaxations are only given to people who belong to the Scheduled Caste category or have worked in any other cooperative institution of Punjab. For such individuals, the upper age limit will be 42 years. In the case of current PSCB employees, the upper age limit is set at 47 years.  

What all organizations can hire CDEO’s via this PSCB Clerk 2021 exam?

Posts of the Clerk cum Data Entry Operators are in the District Central Cooperative Banks of Punjab and Punjab State Cooperative Bank Ltd., Chandigarh. 

Does PSCB follow a standard syllabus and exam pattern for all the banking posts?

It generally does follow the same syllabus and exam pattern except for the post of Senior Manager.  

Are there any other criteria other than the written test for final selection?

No, the written test will be only merit considerable for the final selection.  

Is there any negative marking criteria for attempting questions wrong?

Yes, PSCB will mark you 0.25 negatively for each wrong answer.

What’s the time duration of the PSCB Clerk 2021 exam?

120 minutes or 2 hours 

What’s the mode of examination?

The PSCB will conduct its exam offline. You will have to report to the examination venue.  

What’s the nature of questions of PSCB’s exam?
