Preparation Strategies for English, Quant, Reasoning, Current Affairs & General Awareness
Dear aspirants, for English I would suggest you to read the Hindu newspaper, Like try to read paper to find out errors in passage but you will not find any error but will learn how to form a sentence, and also newspaper is best source to improve vocab and general knowledge.
Read our Vocab articles. Candidates may get some help from the series of Editorial Analysis that we do.
For quant do as much calculations as you can, and practice individual quant quiz available at PracticeMock, For reasoning practice more and more puzzles. Important thing to remind is always analyse the test without analysis your test is waste.
What was the strategy you adopted in preparing for the exam? What was your study schedule? What were the major hurdles you overcame
My strategy for prelims was to do minimum four tests in a day, it really helped me to boost up my speed. For mains I use to do one online set in a day also analyse each and every question. My major hurdle was I can’t learn current affairs and for that, weekly quiz and one liners of PM and during last week of exams best 500 of PracticeMock helped me alot.
How PracticeMock helped you?
At Each and every point PracticeMock was the only source to prepare from prelims to mains. Also the current affairs from PM were too good.
Practice, Patience, Persistence are the key to success. Always believe I can do it, have faith and confidence in yourself.
Here we are with the success story of Shruti Garg. We hope this will inspire candidates preparing for such competitive banking, government and insurance exams.
