Staff Selection Commission has released the recruitment notification for SSC CHSL 2019. The official notification can be downloaded from the SSC official website. The notification is released for the positions of Lower Divisional Clerk/Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators for various Departments, Ministries and Offices of the Government of India. Mentioned below are the important dates, eligibility criteria, selection process and other important details etc.

Eligibility Criteria 

Age Limit

For the posts for which age limit isRemarks

Permissible Relaxation beyond upper age limit for categories are:

Educational Qualification

LDC/ JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG)

Candidates must be have cleared 12th standard or any other equivalent exam from a recognized University of Board.

Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG)

Candidates must have cleared 12th in Science stream along with Mathematics subject from a recognized University of Board.

How to Apply

All applications are to be submitted only in Online mode at the official website of SSC Headquarters. Candidates are required to pay Rs 100/-. Fee is to be paid online through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa/ Mastercard/ Maestro Credit/ Debit card.

2. SSC CHSL Exam Pattern: Descriptive Paper (Tier-II)

The paper assess writing skills of the candidates. Minimum qualifying marks for Tier II would be 33%. Performance of Tier II will be included while preparing merit.

3. SSC CHSL Exam Pattern: Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III)

Typing test will be conducted both in Hindi and English. While applying for the examination candidates will have to mark their choice or option for Skill Test Medium in the application form itself.
