The answer to the first question is wrong. It is clearly written in the notification that a candidate must possess a minimum of 60% marks in graduation/post graduation. So even if you have below 60% in graduation but above 60% in post-grad, you can apply for generalist as well as specialized post. Please rectify it.

  2. My marks in graduation is 54 % and in post graduation it is 57% and i belongs to reserved category. Can i apply for the above post?

    • Yes u can apply, since the required percent criteria is 55% in any of the graduate degree / Postgraduate degree and you are having 57% in PG. Best of luck.

  3. mine is 58% in 10th and 60%+ in both gradyation and 12th .can i apply for generalist post?????

  4. Sir, i have 59.62% in my graduation… I can apply for generalist post.. Will they allow this point gap????

    • Please confirm your category and if you have a post-graduation degree. You can apply if you have 60% or more in your post-graduation or if you are from SC/ST/PwBD category.

  5. Can one apply for both generalist as well as specialist post?

    • No, a candidate should apply for any ONE discipline only. Applications made for more than one discipline will render all the applications of the
      candidate invalid.

      • So then, keeping in mind the vacancies in the generalist & specialist posts, which should be given preference?

  6. Can one apply for both generalist as well as specialist post, if they satisfy the criteria?

    • Hi, As per the notification, “Where CGPA / OGPA are awarded, the candidate will have to
produce a certificate issued by the appropriate authority inter alia stating
the norms of the University regarding conversion of grade into percentage
and the percentage of marks scored by the candidate in terms of norms.”
So basically, you need to produce a certificate by the appropriate authority regarding the conversion of grade into percentage.
