Needless to say, this is once again a golden opportunity for aspirants who are preparing for government examinations. The Prelims will be held on Jun 15 which leaves you with exactly a month for your preparation. With the right preparation and a systematic study plan, you can clear the Prelims. It’s clear that Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development are the sections you need to put special focus on. There are 2 reasons:

Firstly, these are relatively new sections compared to the other sections; Secondly: These 2 sections carry 40 marks (a total of 80 marks) each which forms 40 % of the total score.

Another aspect is that these questions generally take less time to answer. You either know the answer or you don’t know it. Since there is no sectional timing, the time you save in these sections can be utilized in other sections like Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude which require a bit of calculation.
