Identifying and Working on Weak Areas

By now you must have conceptual clarity on a majority of topics of the three sections. Some of the topics might be your strengths and others would be your weaknesses. In the course of 23 days which are left, you should focus on your weak areas and put more efforts to improve upon it. Now the question about identifying your weaknesses. Immediately after taking a mock test, you are provided with an analysis. This analysis highlights your weak areas after analyzing certain factors like the number of incorrect questions, questions where more time was spent etc. After getting introduced to the weak areas, your next goals should be to practice more and analyze where are you going wrong. With regular practice, your errors should minimize.

Strengths count too

Maximizing the marks is not only about improving weak areas. Everybody knows that it’s very difficult to complete all the 100 questions in one hour. These 100 questions have a mix of easy and difficult questions. When taking the exam, you need to scan the questions very quickly to see if you should solve it or skip it. If you would have a really good hold of some areas, you won’t take much time in deciding whether to answer questions from those areas and actually answering it. The bottom line is, the more you practice the better you become in choosing and answering questions.

Practicing via Mock Tests

Mock tests are one of the best tools for practice. It simulates the actual test in a number of terms: number of questions, the difficulty level of questions, time-limit, and interface. What’s more, the analysis which follows a mock test gives you inputs regarding your weak areas and your rank. It also provides a detailed explanation of the questions which were answered incorrectly so that you don’t commit the same mistake in the actual exam.
